GOAL
How to enable files logging for SOAP services in Integrated SOA Gateway 12.2.X, in order to generate ISGLog.log file?
 

SOLUTION
1) Enable file logging

a. Add the following properties in $INST_TOP/soa/isgagent.properties in Oracle E-Busines Suite and <TEMP_FOLDER>/isg.properties in Oracle SOA Suite:

<SID>.ISG_GLOBAL_LOG=TRUE
<SID>.ISG_LOGGER=FILE

 

b. On Oracle E-Business Suite end, stop and restart oafm and oacore managed servers:

cd $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME
admanagedsrvctl.sh stop
admanagedsrvctl.sh start

 

c. On the SOA Suite end, bounce the servers:

Bring down all the servers shown in WebLogic Server admin console.
Well make sure they are all down including the admin server.
ie no server should be running before starting again
Then bring the servers up one by one.

2) reproduce the issue (ie generate, deploy or invoke WSDL)

 
3) ISGLog.log file is created on Oracle SOA Suite node in ISG_TEMP_DIRECTORY_LOCATION.

ISG_TEMP_DIRECTORY_LOCATION is specified in <TEMP_FOLDER>/isg.properties file.
